Dan L. Wugman, Esq.
Dan Wugman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in 1996 and his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law in 1999. He began his career in Workers’ Compensation in 2002, spending seven years at a highly regarded insurance defense firm. There, he gained invaluable experience in defending a wide range of Workers’ Compensation claims. Today, Dan leverages his deep understanding of insurance company strategies to advocate effectively for injured workers across New York State.
A proud 1993 graduate of Spring Valley High School, Dan grew up in Rockland County and remains connected to the community despite living outside the area. He is an active member of the Rockland County Bar Association and contributes to local organizations and charities, reflecting his dedication to giving back.

Michael H. Wugman, Esq.
Michael Wugman earned his undergraduate degree from Pace University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from Pace University Law School in 2005. He began his legal career specializing in criminal and civil litigation, with a particular focus on the eDiscovery process. Over the course of eight years, Michael worked at prominent New York City law firms, serving as associate counsel in several high-profile cases. With over a decade of experience, Michael has dedicated his practice exclusively to Workers’ Compensation and Social Security law, leveraging his extensive knowledge and expertise to consistently surpass clients’ needs and expectations.
A lifelong resident of Rockland County, Michael grew up in Spring Valley and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1999. He is an engaged member of the Rockland County Bar Association and actively participates in numerous community endeavors.

Samantha (Sammy) Mainiero
Paralegal
Sammy graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2020 having begun her journey with Wugman & Wugman, P.C. as an intern in 2018. After graduation, she returned as a full-time paralegal, was extensively trained in the field of Workers’ Compensation, and has become an integral part of the firm. Sammy is committed to guiding clients through every step of their cases whether it’s securing necessary medical care, resolving financial issues, or helping them navigate the challenges of their claims. Her empathy and dedication are evident as she works to make clients feel heard, valued, and supported during what is often a difficult time in their lives. Sammy takes pride in being part of a firm that genuinely cares about its clients’ health and wellbeing.
As a lifelong Rockland County resident, Sammy graduated from Nyack High School in 2016. She still lives in Rockland and is proud to work close to home while still having the ability to help people across New York State. She also stays connected to her community by assisting in extracurricular activities for local schools, where she channels her passion for helping others into working with people of all ages.
Brenda Lemus
Paralegal
Brenda is bilingual and takes pride in being the main point of contact for all of our Spanish-speaking clients. In addition to being trained as a Workers’ Compensation paralegal for Wugman & Wugman, P.C. , she has obtained a certification in medical interpretation that has enhanced her ability to communicate effectively and make clients feel comfortable and understood. She feels it is important not only for the clients to stay informed but have a sufficient understanding of their case status. Known for her professionalism and dedication, Brenda always goes the extra mile to support clients and help them in any way she can. Her genuine passion for helping others makes her an invaluable part of the team.
Having been raised in Rockland County, Brenda graduated from Nyack High School in 2017 and values the connections she has maintained in her community. Outside of work, she loves traveling to new places, shopping, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
